Editorial
Welcome to the latest edition of Christis! I hope that the magazine may be to you a source of encouragement, entertainment and even some light relief amidst all the exams and deadlines this term.
Week four sees us into Christian Aid week; look out for events taking place all over campus and beyond. Please pray that God’s work through the activities of Christian Aid may truly be furthered by the funds and awareness raised as we enjoy ourselves. One of Christian Aid’s campaigns this year is the Trade Justice Movement … on the same theme, in week nine you will be treated to a Fair Trade Café on Vanbrugh Paradise. Volunteers will be needed every day; if you would like to help or find out more then please email socs203@york.ac.uk.
Christis is always on the lookout for new people who may be interested in getting involved with the magazine. Readers, writers, artists, technical assistants and other helpful people are always appreciated! You do not need to make a regular commitment; please just contribute as you feel moved to do so. For those interested in taking a more active role, (or just curious as to what goes on), do come along to one of our meetings or send us an email.
