What is Salvation?

- Our aim in life. That which we should strive towards everyday with God’s help.
- It’s when we don’t get what we do deserve because Jesus did get what he didn’t deserve.
- An honour that is not allocated by our peers.
- Freedom!!
- Salvation is having a perfect relationship with God. As we all still sin in this life, this can never fully be realised outside of an eschatological context.
- Salvation is that which we accept through Grace and accept humbly through faith.
- Falling in love with the Lord Jesus Christ!!
- Salvation is an ‘s’ and an ‘l’ more than and one ‘i’ less than ‘Aviation’. (Ed. — what rocket fuel R U ON?)
- Salvation is that which can never be worked for but only humbly accepted.
- Salvation is God’s recycling process for perishing people.
- The opportunity to spend eternity with God in a fab and groovy place called Heaven.
- Rescuing the fly in your soup.
- Free!
- Damage limitation!
- The grace of God. NO more, no less.
- God removing His just death penalty from all sinners who accept Christ’s substitutionary sacrificial death as the needed outpouring of God’s wrath.
- Completely undeserved. The idea that we can buy our way into heaven through good works is at best misguided and at worst very arrogant.
- Something I can only hope for.
- A free gift from the Lord.
